Naples Real Estate Reaches Number One

This past week publications have been referring to the Naples real estate market as one of the hottest in the country because for the first time ever, the Marco Island-Naples real estate market is ahead of all other metropolitan areas due to its rapid rate of price appreciation.

Over the past few years, Naples real estate has experienced over 50 percent gains in price appreciation. The housing oversight office’s most recent, second quarter report listed Naples at the very top of its house price index. In the past year alone, the office claims that Naples real estate value has increased 35.6 percent.

Of the 20 metropolitan areas that saw price increases, all but five were in Florida and California. Other states with cities in the top 20 are Nevada, Arizona, Idaho and Utah.
