Naples MLS
Using the Naples MLS can make your home search more productive and efficient. The MLS (Multiple Listing Service) is a nationwide database of real estate listings that are currently on the market. It is used by most real estate agents, but is available free to the public for their individual property searches through real estate agents and sites such as this one.
Updated daily from the Naples Area Board of Realtors and Association of Real Estate Professionals (NABOR), the Naples Multiple Listing Service is a current and complete source of the local real estate market.
Currently, 450 real estate brokerage firms and approximately 2,200 realtors participate in this service to list their active properties. There are over 7,000 available real estate listings on the Naples MLS. These properties include both new and resale residential, commercial, and income properties, as well as rentals and lots.
The Naples MLS enables you to search for real estate by neighborhood, price or size. Property
can also be located by its MLS reference number, which a real estate agent will have. Most of the property listings in the Naples MLS include photos of the home, townhome or condo building or unit; some listings will even provide you with a 360-degree virtual tour of the property and a slide show that highlights features of the property's interior and exterior. The listing will also include such detailed information as square footage of the rooms, the year the home was built, type of building material used (brick, frame, etc.) appliances, any extra amenities or features, and additional information about the home and/or neighborhood. The MLS listing will also have the name of the listing agent who represents the home seller and that agent's contact information.
It's often a good idea to start your MLS home search even before you line up a real estate agent and go out looking. You can begin to get an idea of what is available in what areas and in what price ranges.
